Travel + Leisure readers named five hotels, including three in Massachusetts, among the top 100 in the world in 2023.
The publication on Tuesday released its “World’s Best Awards,” a survey in which nearly 165,000 readers were asked to reflect on their experiences around the world and share their thoughts on top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruises, spas, airlines, and more.
The top 100 hotels were rated according to the following criteria, according to T+L:
-

For each condition, readers are allowed to choose a rating of best, above average, average, below average, or below average. The final score given to the hotels on the list was the average of all responses.
