- Qasr Al Watan Interactive Sound and Light Show
Qasr Al Watan is a working palace and tourist attraction. Therefore, it is a popular place to visit traditional schools in the UAE. Youngsters will be amazed by its architecture and its collection of local calligraphy and art. It’s a great place to immerse yourself in the local history and culture for a few hours.
The highlight is his Palace In Motion show with sound and light show. This tells the story of the UAE in an interesting and up-to-date way. Three spectacular events take place at 8pm on most evenings and are the perfect finale to a visit here.
- Louvre Abu Dhabi
This museum has put Abu Dhabi on the international scene and is a must see. Its only building is an unforgettable masterpiece, its silver dome seems to float on the Arabian Gulf. Louvre Abu Dhabi is often referred to as a symbol of the UAE’s ambitions and achievements to date.
Inside the museum, visitors are treated to local and foreign art. As well as paintings and sculptures, there are pictures, ceramics, tapestries and textiles, mirrors and more. Everything has a lot of meaning and culture. All the major icons of the world are represented here, which makes it a must for young people.
- Theme parks
Abu Dhabi theme parks are very popular with young people. Yas Island is the city’s home of entertainment and offers visitors a choice of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Yas Island Abu Dhabi, etc. All three are uncountable.
In Abu Dhabi’s theme parks, you can ride the fastest trains in the world, ride 40 water slides, and meet Batman, Green Lantern, and Scooby Doo. Every teenager would love to spend a day on everything.
- Sea World Abu Dhabi
The newest of the Yas Island theme parks is SeaWorld. At its core are eight different habitats that cover marine life from the Arctic to the tropics. Both areas are designed to engage visitors in educational and recreational activities.
The Arabian Gulf is one of the most fascinating places. Visitors can experience for themselves the diversity and beauty of the local marine life in the interactive pool and tanks. See gentle giants like dugongs, sea snakes and sea turtles. The history of the interaction of the Bedouin people with the sea is also shown through diving exhibitions and souks.
Another attraction is the Endless Ocean area. This is the largest zoo in the world and is home to 68,000 animals. Tunnels and escalators allow you to explore the aquarium and see the lake from a different perspective.
- The beaches
No youngster or young adult can leave Abu Dhabi without spending a day on one of the best beaches. Think white sand, tropical palm trees and azure waters. The city’s beaches are great for water sports and paddle boarding, banana boats and jet skiing are popular here. They are great for relaxing, sunbathing and hanging out with friends.
Yas Beach is a great place to start. It’s easy to get to with great scenery and good restaurants nearby, as well as beautiful mangroves. Other popular beaches include the 2 km long Corniche Beach, which is lined with a beautiful coastal road and manicured gardens, and Kai Beach, which has a more laid-back vibe and boasts turtles and dolphins as frequent visitors.
- CLYMB Abu Dhabi
For an adrenaline rush, this place is hard to beat. The area is home to the world’s largest high-rise and the region’s tallest wall. Visitors can take part in all the exciting experiences under one roof.
CLYMB supports climbers and skydivers through experts. There are many educational experiences and the climbing wall offers different heights to suit the confidence and expertise of each visitor.
- Comic Con
Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) is the largest, brightest pop culture festival in the region. The event celebrates and showcases local and international stars of film, television, games, manga and comics.
Visitors can meet and interact with characters and celebrities, and get autographs and photos. The next event features Hayden Christensen from “Star Wars,” Matt Smith from “Doctor Who,” Andy Serkis from “The Lord of the Rings,” and many other familiar faces.
