Capital One Financial Corp. is taking steps to expand its travel portfolio: Starting later this year, eligible Capital One cardholders will have access to new Lifestyle Collection hotels that can be booked directly through the Capital One Travel portal. The Lifestyle Collection will include many high-end, independent properties located in popular cities around the world, Capital One said in a news release with Bloomberg ahead of today’s announcement.
The McLean, Virginia-based bank’s new Lifestyle Collection comes on the heels of its February 2023 release of its Premier Collection, which gave Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders access to more exclusive properties—especially resorts, including 1 Hanalei Bay in Hawaii, the Oberoi in Marrakech, Serene Lake of Como, St. Barts’s Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa, is Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman is Capella Ubud in Bali.
