Celebrity Cruises has announced that it will extend its five-month 2024 cruise the newest ship, Celebrity Beyondhas been canceled due to changes in shipping plans.
Instead of the ship going to Europe from April to November 2024, Celebrity Beyond They will instead be relocated to the Caribbean to offer tropical cruises during the summer months, and will remain based out of Fort Lauderdale year-round.
Celebrity Beyond Sailing Cancelled
Celebrity Beyondthe newest Edge ship in the Popular Tours ships, are not sailing in Europe during the spring, summer, and fall of 2024 as originally planned. The ship was from Rome (Civitavecchia), offering 10 and 11 night sailings to the wonderful ports of Greece, Croatia, and Turkey.
Instead, the ship’s crew announced that the ship would remain Fort Lauderdale offering Caribbean tours year-round, and as a result, all Celebrity BeyondSummer 2024 European cruises, as well as Atlantic cruises scheduled for April 22-May 6 and November 1-15 have been cancelled.
“Celebrity Cruises is pleased to announce that we will be relocating Celebrity Beyond in 2024 from Europe to the Caribbean, to join Celebrity Reflection, sailing year-round in the Caribbean from South Florida,” Notification email explained.
19 journeys over five months have now been cancelled. Guests have the option to rebook another Celebrity Cruises European voyage, or receive a 100% refund of the canceled reservation. Travelers who rebook for a refund will be given a $100 (USD) or stateroom credit ($200 for Retreat accommodations).
There are no credits, discounts, or future travel credit (FCC) for guests who choose to cancel their trip and agree to a full refund. Travelers should note that rebooking options will be based on incoming fares, so if the new cruise is more expensive, guests will need to pay the difference to make their new reservation.
Guests who wanted to travel on one of the Celebrity Beyondand two for 2024 Atlantic voyages or European summer cruises can be rebooked on another Celebrity cruise that runs on similar routes: Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Equinoxor what is to come the fourth ship in the Edge class, Celebrity Ascentwhich will start in November 2023.
Travelers wishing to rebook their affected holiday must do so by July 11, 2023.
