Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, won big by taking home two of the most coveted awards – Best Resort in the Maldives and Best House Reef in the Maldives, while also being voted the second Best Spa in the Maldives.
BANGKOK – Small Hotelsthe parent company behind the Anantara, Avani, Tivoli, NH Collection, NH, nhow, Oaks and Eleven hotels, is celebrating the 27 honors awarded to its properties across the Asia Pacific region at the first annual Travel+Leisure Luxury South East Asia Awards held recently in Bangkok.
Travel+Leisure South East Asia, a popular luxury travel and lifestyle magazine, conducted an online survey in which readers rated all of their travel experiences which resulted in the inaugural Luxury Asia Pacific Awards. The awards recognize excellence in the travel industry, ranking the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, pools and leaders from the Maldives to Australia.
Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, won big by taking home two coveted awards – Best Resort in the Maldives and Best House Reef in the Maldives, while also being voted the second Best Spa in the Maldives. In Thailand, Anantara’s two northern restaurants Anantara Chiang Mai and Anantara Golden Triangle they made the top five luxury hotels in category 3 and 5 respectively. Minor’s health offerings in Thailand also went well with the newly opened BDMS Wellness Clinic Retreat in Thailand. Anantara Riverside Bangkok Hotel was ranked as the fourth best spa, with Clinique La Prairie Bangkok located in St Regis Bangkok finished in the top five.
Rounding out the top five rankings in the region, Anantara Hoi An Resort was rated 2nd Best Resort in Vietnam, while luxury hotel Avani+ Luang Prabang Hotel was rated 5th Best Resort in Laos. .
