HOTELS with pools are one of your best bets when it comes to family vacations.
Some of the UK’s biggest travel companies have huge holiday deals that include hotels, return flights and access to resorts for the summer of 2024.
Most of the attractions have rides, including lazy rivers, pools and waterfalls for children and adults.
Many holidays include free children’s accommodation, but these can sell out quickly.
Here are some of the best family holidays in Spain, Greece and Turkey with TUI, Jet2holidays and First Choice.
Crete, Greece
Located in Crete, Gouves Water Park has a variety of accommodation, from standard rooms and family rooms to swimming pools with private pools.
All guests can take advantage of the on-site water park.
The 1,500sqm splash park has water areas, swimming pools and six large slides.
Antalya, Turkey
The Turkish resort of Eftalia in Antalya is a large hotel – there are 682 rooms, with bathroom suites among the most luxurious.
It is connected to Eftalia Aqua Resort, and facing the beach.
If you want to avoid the sea, then the park has large pools for children, several water slides and rides, and even a cruise ship and water rafting.
Tenerife, Spain
Several hotel packages in Tenerife include entry to the Siam Water Park – often voted one of the best in the world.
It has over 30 breathtaking rides and holds several world records, including the creation of the world’s largest man-made wave.
The park has been rated No.1 in TripAdvisor’s ‘world’s best’ for seven consecutive years.
Younger children and adventure lovers can head to The Lost City instead, where you’ll find kid-friendly platforms, bridges, nets, cascades and 15 water slides.
You’ll also find the only kiddie pool in the Canary Islands.
Gran Canaria, Spain
LIVVO Hotels Lago Taurito & Waterpark has an on-site water park with several slides alongside parasols, lounges, drinks and snacks – the hotel is also steps away from the water sports beach.
This package includes evening entertainment, kids’ clubs and a range of sports and activities, including tennis, volleyball and water polo.
Majorca, Spain
Located in Alcudia, the resort includes unlimited access to the Hidropark, where you’ll find a high-speed kamikaze, multi-level speed slides and mini-parks.
The resort has seven outdoor pools, including two children’s pools, three restaurants and seven bars.
Hidropark also offers a 20 percent discount on food and beverages to all hotel guests.
Menorca
If you’re traveling with small children, the on-site water park in Sur Menorca is great – it has swimming pools, jets, and small slides in addition to speed slides and chutes. There is also a lazy river and a whirlpool bath if you want to relax.
There are also activities such as a mini-disco, quizzes and karaoke every evening to keep children entertained throughout the day.
Rhodes, Greece
The Atlantica Aegean Blue makes for a fun-filled vacation, thanks to its abundance of space. From outdoor pools, splash and kiddie pools to jacuzzis and a water park, they have it all.
The water park is the main attraction, as it includes space dishes, slalom slides and jungle attractions. While the main pool is a large viewing lake with water jets that pass under wooden bridges.
