    Tom Cruise Was In Naples Last Month

    There are many celebrities who have come to SWFL and many who live here permanently, and another A-lister, Tom Cruise was in Naples last month.

    One thing I love about Tom Cruise, is that after all these years, he still does his own thing. And last month, Cruise was spotted at Naples International Airport flying his P-51 Mustang in preparation for a new mission. Misson: Impossible – Deadly Reckoning Part Two is expected to be released next year (Part 1 will hit theaters on July 12).

    Tom Cruise has been a fan for years, ever since he filmed it Top Gun back in 1986. And this plane in particular looks familiar, if they included it Top Gun: Maverick.

    The plane he was seen flying in Naples is not his only one. He has quite a collection. Business Insider reports that the actor also owns a Gulfstream, HondaJet and Challenger 300.

    Why did Tom Cruise choose Naples Airport?

    Although we don’t know for sure, the Naples Daily News reports that Cruise’s mother, Mary Lee South, has lived on Marco Island for nearly 20 years, so she knows the area well. But Tom Cruise is not far away, because he lives in the town of Clearwater.

    Here in The Sunshine State we have many amazing hotels and a hotel in Miami has made Tripadvisor’s list of the best in the US.

    There are two types of people who are on vacation. Those who see a hotel as just a place to sleep. And those who enjoy everything a hotel has to offer and a good/bad hotel can make or run. Depending on what kind of vacation I’m going on, I can go either way. But I tend to choose a better hotel, especially if it’s somewhere I’ll be staying for a few days. I like a nice pool, a nice restaurant/bar and a room that is not only nice, but high from the standard.

    But what makes a hotel the best? I think every person has a way of rating a hotel. Others may be more impressed with the warm and welcoming staff. Others may be more interested in the beauty of the hotel’s interior or the hotel’s cuisine. Maybe a bed that feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Or amenities such as a pool, golf course or spa.
