MYSURU: Hotel Owners Association, MysuruHe has asked the chief of police in the city to give instructions to the police that the hotels will be open until 11.30pm.
According to C Narayana Gowdathe head of the association, the city police are forcing the hotel owners to close their business at 10.30pm which is causing problems for the guests.
In a letter to the city’s police chief, Mr. Gowda said that for many years hotels were allowed to operate in the city until 11.30 pm. “It was to help tourists who arrived late in the city after visiting the tourist sites, including travelers and relatives of patients admitted in various hospitals.
However, for the past one month, the police have been forcing hotel owners to close their business at 10.30pm,” he said. Cafes and restaurants are allowed to operate till 11.30pm. However, hotels close at 10.30pm, he added. tnn
