Bulgari Resort in Dubai has been ranked 5th in this year’s Top 1,000 Luxury Hotels in the World. The list, released by French company La Liste on Thursday, also features the city’s Burj Al Arab in eighth place.
Two hundred hotels occupy the first 10 places. While Bulgari Resort, Dubai, is in fifth place with 20 other hotels, Burj Al Arab shares eighth place with 38 others.
According to La Liste, the rankings are based on travel guides, social media publications, and online reviews.
“La Liste’s meta categories combine more than 300 guides, rankings, media, and customer reviews to rank among the Top 1,000 Best Hotels in the World. More than 5,000 hotels in 200 countries have our free mobile app, joining restaurants and bakeries more than 35,000,” said La Liste co-founder Jorg Ziprick.
La Liste also named the winners of the “Hotel Opening of the Year Awards 2023” which include Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, Capella in Sydney, and Peninsula in Istanbul, among others.
In January, Atlantis The Royal in Dubai was launched in a spectacular fashion show that was paid for by famous artist Beyonce.
Bulgari Resort Dubai
The hotel is located on Jumeirah Bay Island and is located on a beautiful island in the sea.
It is only a two-minute walk from the beach and can be reached via a 300-meter bridge.
According to Bulgari Hotel and Resorts, its location in Dubai is “larger than any other Bulgari Hotels” and “evokes and complements its maritime environment”.
The luxury hotel features Bulgari’s first Yacht Club overlooking a 46-boat marina and features amenities such as an outdoor pool and bar, the Little Gems Club, the Yacht Club Italian Restaurant serving seafood, and a member’s lounge. The Beach Club, at Bulgari Resort Dubai, has 14 cabanas, a children’s pool, a bar, and the La Spiaggia restaurant.
Bulgari Hotels and Resorts are located in major cities around the world – including Dubai, London, Milan, Paris, Tokyo, Rome, Beijing, Shanghai, and Bali.
Burj Al Arab
One of the most famous buildings in Dubai, the Burj Al Arab is taller than the Eiffel Tower and 60 meters shorter than the Empire State Building in the US. It is located on an artificial island 280 meters from the coast of Dubai.
The hotel has some of the most unique features such as an infinity pool, a private beach, and one of the longest terraces at 180 meters.
Guests at the Burj Al Arab enjoy a luxury spa 150 meters above the Persian Gulf, luxury suites, and dining with a Michelin star chef.
Atlantis The Royal, Palm Jumeirah
Atlantis The Royal has 43 storeys of suites, rooms, penthouses, eight restaurants, clubs, bars, spas, and a pool that is “22 storeys in the sky”.
It has the world’s largest aquarium and an aquarium that allows visitors to swim with sharks. Famous Dutch DJ Tiesto has written the soundtrack for the hotel.
Which hotel is at the top of the list?
The Cipriani Hotel in Venice, Italy, has secured the first place in the list of the 1,000 Best Luxury Hotels in the World 2023.
The second place was shared by three hotels – The Peninsula Chicago, US, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, Mexico, and Cheval Blanc St-Barth, France – while the third position was given to eight hotels.
