Located in Salcombe, the Gara Rock outdoor swimming pool has uninterrupted sea views.
Not only are they heated, but you can take a cocktail made from Salcombe gin to relax on the sun lounger.
Also at the hotel is an indoor pool, cinema room, Elemis spa and restaurant, as well as a mix of hotel rooms and restaurants.

King Street House, Manchester
One of the few outdoor hotel pools in the city, Manchester’s King Street Townhouse has its own on the seventh floor.
With great views of the city, the pool is part of the spa hotel which has a steam room and a “relaxation area”.
Only guests have access to the hotel’s 40 rooms, although there is also a cinema and rooftop terrace to pass the time.

The Scarlett Hotel, Cornwall
Overlooking the Cornish coast, The Scarlett Hotel has an outdoor pool.
It’s a natural, reed-filtered swimming pool with a hot tub next to it.

Grand Hotel, Eastbourne
Also known as The White Palace, this hotel has a large outdoor pool heated to 30C.
First built in the 1960s, it reopened in 2015 to welcome visitors.
The five-star hotel also boasts stunning beach views and an indoor pool and spa.

Cowley Manor, Cheltenham
Cowley Manor is a 15 minute drive from Cheltenham but in the Cotsolds countryside.
An outdoor swimming pool is available in the fitness center, which also has an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and gym.
Otherwise visitors can enjoy walking around the 55 acres, or in the summer, attend outdoor shows.

The boutique hotel Maison Talbooth has a large outdoor pool in the center of the resort.
Three rooms overlooking hte pool you want to be one of the first to go to the water.
Guests can use the outdoor pool and hot tub and tennis court.

London has a number of hotels with outdoor pools, many of which are on the roof, and 180 House (run by the team behind Soho House.
The pool has 360 degree views of central London although it is covered in the off season.
Make sure you’re friends with a Soho House member, because you’ll need them to get the chance.
